Cairoli and Jonass increase the leadership at motocross world championship.

Round 9: GP of France - Ernee - 28.05.17

The ninth round of the motocross world championship 2017, of the eighteen scheduled this season, took place on the French circuit of Ernée, northwest of Le Mans, France. The hard and compact soil, but excellently worked by the men of the local club, welcomed the protagonists of the motocross under a summer sun. In the MXGP class, Antonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) increased its leadership of the championship riding on its KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena. TC222 was perfect at start of both moto and took for two times the hole shot. During the race phases, the several time world champion has administered his power and with the second and third place he has climbed to the second step of the podium just one point behind the winner. With the result achieved in France, Cairoli extends its leadership in the overall ranking that has now risen to fifty points. Fifth place in the standings for Jeremy Van Horebeek (Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Team), which raced Yamaha YZF 450 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system . In the MX2 class, Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), led to the victory of its KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena and with the success achieved in France increased his leadership in the championship with another 5 points from Second in the overall standings. Second place for Benoit Paturel (Yamaha Yamaha Yamaha Yamaha Yamaha Yamaha), which brought his Yamaha YZF 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system . The Frenchman who played "in the house" managed to reach his first career win in front of the homeland crowd who cheers him for all the race. On the third step of the podium, for a fantastic Athena "en plein",  Jeremy Seewer (Team Suzuki World MX2) aboard his Suzuki RMZ 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system. The swiss man still in second position of the overall championship.
