Round 5: GP of Trentino - Pietramurata - 16.04.2017

It was an unforgettable Easter for all, the one just past at the motocross circuit "The Ciclamino" Pietramurata close to Arco di Trento. A day of celebration for all motocross fans who have seen exciting races, till the final laps. In MXGP was eight-time world champion Antonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), on board of the KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena, was the protagonist of the show by sending all those present into a dream with a performance worthy of passing in the annals of motocross World as one of his best races. After the "perfect race", when in race 1 took the lead of the race and drove undisturbed until the checkered flag, it was in moto 2 that TC222 has brought out the best of themselves. Started in second place, had a small crash at the second corner that forced him to comeback from beyond the twentieth position. Tony has imposed a furious speed and all of his opponents had to bow to his KTM 450 SX-F masterfully conducted until the second final position which gave him the victory in the GP and the embrace of the Italian public who It supported to the end. Not exciting day insteda, for Jeremy Seewer (Team Suzuki World MX2) that riding the Suzuki RMZ 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system, JS91, has failed to go beyond the sixth position in the standings of the day, having to give up the  leading of the class, gone in the hands of Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) who was also in the race with KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena. Jonass, with the second place, took command of the overall standings.

Round 4: GP of Mexico - Leon - 02.04.2017

 

Two week after the GP of Argentina, the motocross world championship has moved to Mexico for the fourth GP of the season that saw the protagonists of the fights run on the track situated inside the metropolitan park of the city of Leon, in the state of Guanajuato, located at an altitude of about 1800 meters above sea level. In MX2, was the Swiss Jeremy Seewer (Team Suzuki World MX2) riding the Suzuki RMZ 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system  to conquer the best result of day. After the victory in Race 1, determined thanks to an exceptional start, the features of the Launch Control LC-GPA, Seewer it finished in fourth place in race 2, due a small mistake when he was attack the leadership. This little error, however, has not precluded the second position and the position of leader of the overall standings. In fourth place was Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) who ride a KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena author of a tough race with some stitches on his left arm after a crash in the morning warm up. In MXGP, he is returned to the podium (second overallAntonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) aboard KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena. After a fourth place in Race 1 with a stunning comeback, TC222 it finished behind the winner in the second moto with about conquering the "silver medal" of the day. Round 3: GP of Patagonia Argentina - Neuquen - 19.03.2017

After the first two races held in Qatar and Indonesia, the Motocross World Championship 2017, he moved to Villa La Angostura, a town situated in the southern part of the Argentine provinces of Neuquen, on the north-western shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi , in the beautiful scenery of Patagonia. On a path well-worked by the organizers and characterized by hard pack soil, the two main categories of the World Championship Motocross competed until the last lap for a glory. In MX2, was a "KTM's affaire" that was staged on the beautiful South American track. Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) in the race with the KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena was the author of a great performance with a double victory and recovered widely the not great day had in Indonesia in the previous GP. Behind him, the young Spaniard Jorge Prado (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) who was also in the race with the KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena. The sixteen year old Iberian jump for the second time on the podium after the third place conquered in Assen in the season 2016. Only seventh overall Antonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) aboard his KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena. The Sicilian, having finished third in Saturday's qualifying, controlling his opponents and without discovering the "card" to play, lived a not perfect day. After two not exceptional start, Tony has committed in both moto two small mistakes that forced him to felt down. Although he was back on the bike, the Sicilian champion was forced to difficult recoveries that have been arrested in ninth and fifth position in the two races. After the Argentinian race, Tony took the second position in the championship standings, just ten points behind the leader.

Round 2: GP of Indonesia - Pangkal Pinang - 05.03.2017Jeremy Seewer

The Indonesia's monsoon season has "hit" the Motocross World Championship and predictable rains have wet all without save nothing and no one. The two contenders for the title were both forced to retire due of the track conditions. In the MX2 was Jeremy Seewer (Team Suzuki World MX2) riding the Suzuki RMZ 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system to win the GP after two very difficult heats. The fifth place in the day's classification ranked Davy Pootjes (HSF Logistics Motorsports)) which resulted in the race his KTM SX-F 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system. The KTM former factory rider took second place in the first heat but was not able to repeat in moto 2 due of a few mistakes too dictated by the extreme conditions of ground become a real trap. Excellent performance for Glenn Coldenhoff (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) who was also riding the KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena. The Dutchman led the race for five laps and then give the leadership to an opponent but by controlling the position until the checkered flag. With the result achieved in Indonesia, Coldenhoff back up to sixth place in the overall standings behind by Jeremy Van Horebeek (Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Team) on board his Yamaha YZF 450 equipped with the control unit RX1 Ages, the acquisition system and data M40 the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA.
